Food for Schools and Santa's Anonymous

I have been a strong supporter of our school lunch program and Santa's Anonymous efforts.  Like many of our staff I have contributed to this program with time and money.  It is important to me that our students are supported in all areas, not just while they are in our building.

Safe Spaces

I have long been an advocate and ally of the LGTBQ community.  This year at the middle years conference I was able to listen to Everett Tetz's presentation on Sex and Gender Identity, Safe Spaces and Human Rights. I feel most school have significant room for growth in this area and I am interested in what my role in educating and supporting our students could be. This is an area I will continue to learn about and develop.
